A Lot of Stuff!

I am glad my wife doesnt spend a lot of time on this forum.  After PineyWoods asked me to review any of the products listed in the product pages I realized after 5 reviews and more to come I have a lot of Stuff!!!!!  Let this be a warning to all newbies.  If ya get into this hobby you will over time accumulate enoeph STUFF to leave your children a sizable inheritance!  LMAO

oh yea, thats an understatement. I am slowly building a small arsenal of tools to process meat and cook with.

Lets see here, Im gonna make a list of all the stuff I own.

smokehouse

1hp meat grinder(me and dad went in halfs on it)

stainless steel table

commercial meat slicer

stainless steel cabinet style propane smoker

10 gallon jambalaya pot w/ burner

a large cast iron pot

4 cast iron skillets

vacuum sealer

meat tenderizer attachment for grinder

all the stuff to make wine(bottles, hoses, carboy)

Heck I got a good set up going and I'm still in school, living at home with my parents. Not a bad start in life when I do move out.

Well, in my cave, I have to fill out the requisition order in triplicate, fax it over to cavewoman's office, wait for both of her signatures, (one to approve, the other to verify the approval), then send another request on which account to make the purchase from.  After all of that, I don't want the new toy anymore.  Life is so simple around the cave.

One of the advantages of being an old fart is that I get to go buy what I want. I retired in March which would have been the end of a lot of purchases but alas a company wanted my services enough to give me a substantial raise so I am back to buying again LOL

I guess I'm lucky for, we are fat kids that love to eat and my wife says if you need something that might make this better or you can make some different stuff that taste this good you can have it. Now the bills are paid first  and then some travel also and then comes the food money. Yes there Rick I'm glad I don't have to list all the stuff that I have for my wife Linda does peek in every now an then and I have a bunch of toys too.

I'll just say "It's good to be retired".  Took over the family cooking duties (just the two of us) and SWMBO also says, if it'll make it easier, get it. 

  And the list keeps growing.  Can we say  Dutch Ovens??  The next adventure.........
