This morning the temperature was 58℉ with the humidity in the 30's and a breeze, it sure felt nice. More of the same on tap for tomorrow. Thankfully we never had an actual 100℉ day this year, but many days in the 90's with the heat index well above 100. Our humidity will run in the 70's to 90's so it gets real nasty at times. Very thankful for a little reprieve from the heat and ready for the fall and a little bit more enjoyable weather for smoking...

Same here. Seems like the last few weeks we were stuck in the house like it was winter.
Rolled the offset out yesterday with plans in mind.
I'm not really ready for Fall yet, but I'll take less of the 90s....

I’m ready for fall and early winter. My smokehouse is just sitting there helpless for the heat. Ready to roll smoke more this year than most. Hams, bacon, sausage, bologna and Krakow chubs and don’t forget those wieners. I’m ready.

Been humid as hell around here this summer. Ida came through and cooled us down. Been low 80s this week with almost no humidity. Haven't used my offset once this summer because of the heat. Ready for fall so I can fire it up.
Good to see you back on here, Jake. I was worried about how y'all had been with all the flooding and then Ida. Now get that smoker fired up and post up some cooks...

We are fine. We're up in the high hills at higher altitude. Others in middle Tennessee didn't fare so well. Gonna do a couple racks of beef ribs one day this weekend

Yep here in Mississippi we have a had a break in the heat and humidity. Shoot it was in the mid-60's on the way to work this morning. Had the windows rolled down and just enjoyed it.
