Well one of my best friends turned 50 yesterday and I was asked to cook something so here's something. Now chuck and I go way way back from him surfing at in front of my house to his short lived skateboard career. Then we have worked together (he was my boss) for about 12 years. Now I started out with about 10lbs of pulled pork his wife requested for little sliders. Then he and everyone else told me I was doing some Abt's and then I decided to throw in a little twist I think you folks here will enjoy. So here we go with it:
First some Abt's with cream cheese, crumbled blue cheese, green onions, garlic and then some hot italian sausage and wrapped in thin sliced bacon.

Now we in the smoker and sorry this is where this one ends. Believes me they were after me for theses when I hit the door. A real crowd pleaser.

Now for my little twist. How about some SUSHI but the SMF way with some Pulled Pork and then some carrots and celery and green onions. I cannot lie I saw this one on The Food Network you know " Guy Fieri" He has it at his restaurant called Tex Wasabi's in calf. It's called the Jackass Roll.
First we shove it all in and then hopefully roll it. Like you know one of those things when we were all young that stuff that came in little baggies and not that rub from Beer-B-Q

Twisting and........

And twisting..............

Twisting ................ here we go a sushi roll WAY COOOOOLLL
Now it's to the party to let the cat out of the bag. Nobody knew what I was bringing I just said "something different" So here we are cut up and looks pretty darn good too. The rice on the outside is PP with some Carolina's Gold sauce and then the one with the nori on the outside is PP with some of Shooter Rick's snake bite sauce. Not bad for the first time

I hope I hit it out of the park with the presentation. Nobody knew and it was well received by then guest of honor and his wife. I made a total of 9 rolls, cause I was pressed for time. Needless to say if I wanted any more I better get out the rice cooker.

Thanks and I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
