Those are some very fine looking steaks. You even got the restaurant grill marks on those bad boys. Thumbs up for sure.

Thanks Riverside! Been "practicing" for a long time to get the perfect steak, and will continue practicing because the perfect steak is the NEXT steak because the one you just finished is GONE!

Been a good year! hit a few powder days - no complaints! Just need to stop working so I can go everyday!!

Nice. The two on the outside are vein steaks, which may be why they were on sale. I see that sometimes. When I buy whole strips I grind those - they make fantastic burgers.

They made pretty good steaks as is, but they would have made good burgers! The butcher sells the very same vein cut for 20 bills per pound behind the glass..... I won't pay that! But for 5 bills, despite the gristle through the middle, the marbling was pretty nice, I forgot to take a pic before I dressed them up.....

Same for us...saving like crazy...not too far off we think. I am over working and my job, but it pays, so I stay. I just care a little less when it get to me and read SMF!
