On my quest to buy a slicer I came across this one. For the money it looks great. Mine will be here thurs or friday so Ill be able to let you know what I think.

The first test will be whatever hunk of meat or cheese i can grab first. Then next tuesday a it will be CB that i will be putting in cure today.

Really good deal, as long as it works like you would hope.
I've been wanting a slicer for quite a while now but all the good ones are pretty expensive.
I'm going to have to remember to check back and see what you thought of it.

Looks pretty neat. One question I would be curious about is how will you sharpen the blade????

You probably can't. It has a serated blade. I have a smaller Rival for over 20 years and never sharpened it. Still works.

Not sure. But I am sure that a replacement blade on Ebay will not be expensive.
