My youngest son, his wife, and 3 kids, came in from Alabama yesterday.  My oldest 2 boys & their families are coming over today for a who-knows-how-long party.  That's a total of 15 people.  So, I woke up at 2am and put on 4 packers, right at 45 lbs of brisket. Brushed 'em with molasses, good coat of Jeff's rub, using Mesquite for smoke {we do live in Texas}...  They're sitting at 178 degrees now, have temp probes in 3 of 'em, been smoking for 8 hours, I'm shootin' for 12...  We'll pig out today, and have enough left over for when my daughter and her crew come over tomorrow...

Mmmmmm Sounds good, Will be a great weekend, and with leftovers oh so much that can happen with that...... I'll be watching this....

Looking good from here...
Got about the same poundage going next weekend...
A 15 pound brisket, two 10 pound butts, couple racks of baby backs, 10 pounds of wings going in the electric roaster and two packs of chicken thighs going on the grill (no room in the smokers lol) along with a couple packs of dogs...whew...
