3D Printed Fake Egg

Was looking at one of the chicken blogs and this lady bought wooden fake eggs to get her chickens to lay more.

They are called encouragement eggs.

So I printed one. Chicken not going to know its black and has a flat bottom.

Going to lay in one of the side nest boxes and test it.

I got one that just started to lay. I can tell because the eggs when they started were smaller.

The baby chix are getting big. Im going to order 6 bantams soon.
