So I'm smoking 2 7lb butts for a friend's birthday. This will be my first pork smoke on my new MRS 40. I put them in around 130 yesterday and removed at 2 today, wrapped up in towels and put in a cooler.
1st pic is before they went in the smoker

Second set is before I wrapped in towels to sit.

24 hours is a long time. What was your cook temp and at what IT did you yank them out?
