2 things low temp and hard to keep smoke rolling

I have a camp chef 24 propane smoker, at times I can't get flame low enough even with a flow reg, 2 mail box mod is not working good after I moved to a place with no wind.

I've had a SV24 for several years & never had a problem with smoke.

What temp are you trying to smoke at?
