110v. heat & temp control for my freezer build

Hey guys... been searchin' around for the best/economical way to provide heat and thermostatic control for my freezer build. I only need a max of 210*. So lets hear some suggestions.... I was thinking about toaster oven elements & controls, or possibly 110v. kitchen oven pieces, although not sure how easy those would be to find. I plan to use an AMNPS for smoke so now heat is the issue at hand!

Hey welcome to SMF you can use a 110 brinkman replacement element, they cost about 40.00 and as far as a temp controler Auburins makes them and so does Ranco ETC 1000 I use the Ranco and the brinkman in my fridge smoker and works great UNTIL you want to go above 220 to smoke something and you can't so even thou you dont want want to go that high you might want to buy it just in case, The ranco only goes to 220 so if the smoke bug gets you like eveyone else you will want to smoke things at a higher temp

PS just to let you know if you plug in just the brinkman element I have got my fridge to about 300 or so. but I can not control the heat. JFYI hope this helps

although it looks like I need a smaller element for this controller.... something under 1440 watts?

I used a burner element from Lowes and PID from Auberins controls works great from as low as 55 to 350

OK I'm absolutly clueless about 110v stuff...  So which PID from Auburins would be the best, and will any burner work or are they voltage specific... 110/220????

I just need simple at this point.... plug & play would be awesome!!

I used a stove top 1800 watt burner element and have it wired to 220

Yes I beleive so  on both of thos the out put plug goes to burner and the input plug is a regular computer cord you can get about anywhere that is same burner I have and the was the PID I wanted let us know  how it goes.

this set up works fantastic with an Amaze-N- pellet or tube smoker!!!!

The Ranco temp controller is maxed out at 200*... I only cold smoke in this particular unit so it is fine for my application! 

 Went out the other morning and it was 25* below... started it up and set the temp at 65* for Bacon... in about 30min. it was up to temp!
