I have 2 - 250 gal lp tanks one is 1/4'' thick the other is 3/8''. I am using one as the CC and half of the other as the FB. I am wondering if I should use the thicker one for the FB or the CC.

I would use the thicker one for the cook chamber. It'll take a little longer to heat up but it will help with temp swings during rain and windy conditions
