I love to read and love to cook (duh). I got some great BBQ books for Father's Day, and now I'm looking for a few more to get me through the summer. I am looking for books strictly about smoking (recipes, techniques, etc)., not grilling i.e. Weber-centric.
An early Christmas present from my grandma. A couple recipe books that her mom (my great grandma) had one of which has several hand written recipes including a couple for sausage. Going to have to do some work to be able to fully read them as they are quite faded.

I tried to add my recipes whenever possible, but I often don't use recipes and just wing flavors and measurements. Even on posts that I don't have recipes, I still included them here to share my methodologies/ideas/thought processes.
Basic Brisket Method
Make a roux of 1 stick of butter and 2/3C flour.
Cook to a nice color like that of peanut butter.
