Barbeque on a Weber Q 220? Is it possible?

I'm looking into getting a Weber Q 220 for camping and I'm curious if you can keep a really low flame on this grill. I'm looking to barbeque at lets say 225-260. Is this gonna be possible on the Weber Q 220? Thanks, Leo

    Help please.....

Should these ribs (baby backs) be done yet? I put them on at 10:30 this morning and have been cooking them at say 220 all day long. I'm asking because they have not really pulled away from the bone at all.

    Q-view.. Rack-0-Ribs

This one is for my lovely wife.... She doesn't like the smoky flavor so no smoke involved... I'm hoping to get some flavor from the rub, charcoal or apple juice. Went on at 3:00.

Looking for information on making bacon. Start to finish.

I found a store nearby that sells pork belly and now I have to do this. I was looking for a sticky thread but have not found one. Any info would be great. Leo

How long should you smoke for?

Say you are smoking ribs. How long into the cooking time should you smoke? I have done it al the way through using one chunk at a time and the meat has been pink all the way through with a very strong hickory taste. I was just reading a thread somewhere and it was talking about when using a...

    Ribs without the smoke?

My wife doesn't care for the smoke taste of hickory and was wondering how the ribs come out with just the rub and slow cooked at 225 using plain old Kingsford Charcoal. I would probably mop them with a 50/50 of apple juice and canola oil. What do you guys think, any good? I guess it's worth a...

I'll be trying jumbo chicken drummies this weekend. How do I go about it?

I'll be doing 2 racks of Spares also. Can the drummies just be thrown on the smoker with just mustard and a rub like the ribs?

Looking for a sweet rub with almost no kick whatsoever

I smoked my first brisket this weekend and it was excellent except for the rub I chose. I went with the "All South Barbeque Rub" and it was screaming hot for us . I am looking for a brown sugary crust making rub that will go with brisk and ribs. Any help is appreciated. Leo

    When rubbing a brisket,

do you rub it heavily and completely cover it with rub or go lightly with it? Also, do you first coat it with mustard? Thanks

One of the newest guys on the block here

First off, What's up to everyone! Ok, I just registered here today as soon as I stumbled across this forum. I have enjoyed smoking some pulled pork on my Weber 22.5 but the time has come for something more exciting to smoke on now. I've had my eyes and thoughts on the Weber WSM and the...
