An old Tennessee farmer had a wife who nagged him unmercifully. From morning until night (sometimes later), she was always complaining about something. The only time he got any relief was when he was out plowing with his mule, "Old Bo." He tried to plow a lot.
One day, when he was out plowing...

I have a 7 - 7 1/2 turkey breast in the freezer and I haven't done one yet. I think I am asking too many questions, but i wanna get this right. I'd hate to throw it out.

I was just wondering what it's made of or how high temp cheese is made. I remember years ago getting low fat cheese for english muffin pizzas. The cheese did not melt at all. It just charred.
I haven't posted in a while, cause I haven't smoked anything at home in awhile. My smoker was kidnapped.
I smoked some ribs awhile ago for a friend of mine and he wanted me to cook for his little girls 3 year old bday party. So he had his bro pick up my smoker and hauled it away. A month later...
A man is sitting reading his newspaper when his wife sneaks up behind him and whacks him on the head with a frying pan.
"What was that for?" He asks
"That was for the piece of paper in your trouser pocket with the name of Mary Ellen written on it" she replies.
"Don't be silly " he says...
A successful rancher died and left everything to his devoted wife. She was
determined to keep the ranch, but knew very little about ranching, so she
placed an ad in the newspaper for a ranch hand.
Two cowboys applied for the job. One was gay and the other a drunk.
She thought long and hard about...

it took about 8 hours for a 6# piece. well worth it. It stalled out at about 169º for alittle bit. It cooked for about 6 hours total and then wrapped in a towel and put it in a cooler. Just pulled it out of the cooler after about 1 1/2 -2 hours and picked it apart with a fork.
I have been...
The weekend would not be the same if I didn't smoke something. I bought a 6# pork shoulder. I had to put a fattie on there at the same time so I could have some appetizers before the pulled pork. Chicken leg/thigh quarters are going on alittle later. Food for the whole week, yum!
Does beer add flavor to the chicken or does it just keep it juicy? I was thinking of doing one, but what beer to use? Do the darker beers infuse? better flavor? I have read that some people have put some dry rub in the can too. What kinda wood is best to smoke with?
thanks

There was this man who lost one of his arms in an accident. He became very
depressed because he had loved to play guitar and a lot of things that took
two arms. One day he could not stand it anymore. He decided to commit
suicide. He got on an elevator and went to the top of a tall building to...
A farmer has about 500 hens, but no rooster, and he wants chicks. So, he goes down the road to the next farmer, explains his problem and asks if he has a rooster that he would sell. The other farmer says, "Yep, I've got this great rooster, named Ralph. He'll service every chicken you got, no...

I smoked a 2 x 1.5 lb pork tenderloins tonight for about 2 1/2 hours and it took 1/4 - 1/3 of a bag of Royal Oak Natural charcoal and almost a 10 lb bag of hickory chunks. Does that sound right or do i have a...
This thing works great. I have used it twice on grilling pork and just tonight to smoke a pork tenderloin. When grilling I turned the meat over when it got to the half way point of it's cooked temp. Then I took it off when it reached the ideal temp. I waited 5 minutes to cut into the meat and it...
Well i finally decided to smoke something on my Char-griller w/ sfb. I have grilled pork on it twice already, but never smoked something on it.
I bought a pork tenderloin (well 2). The rub i used is a rub i have used with pork chops for a long time, something simple; sage, thyme, salt, pepper...
