    burger jerky maker, now going into smokin

    I have been making burger jerky for about a yearand having a great time.  Now I am taking a big jump into smokin! can't wait to get going.  FedEx just delivered my new smoker SmokinTex 1400.   Can anyone tell me how to season my new unit, and any care as far as cleaning if needed. Thanks,
