I did the doublesmokedham a couple of years ago for a work function. The ladies I work with loved it. So now the weekend before every Thanksgiving and Christmas I have the smoker rolling with at least 4-6 hams usually.
Yours looks really great.
Jim
And I might add, I do not spend time trimming the ham so close to the bone, all of it, the fat I quickly trim off, and usually some of the doublesmokedham go into the pot with the beans for flavoring. Just my way of doing mine
We did Christmas dinner last night, doublesmokedham off the Weber, yams, scalloped taters, fresh asparagus. Eggs Benedict for brunch today, maybe a brisket burger off the flattop if I get hungry later. Maybe I'll have a drink!
...the last one of the season, and I received a campchef pellet grill cover, which i got to open early and use right away for doing a doublesmokedham for supper. looks very nice on the grill and it helped keep the temps steady as it was in the low single digits with a bit of wind when i was...
Doublesmokedham, Dutch’s wicked beans, cheated and bought dressing, green bean casserole, and sweet potato casserole from a local restaurant. Just gotta throw them in the oven and corn.
And gonna make @chilerelleno blueberry baked oatmeal with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

It's just tough to think how that works out Charles. Of course I love the onions, but I never do them for a grilled H&C, and I do have one fairly often after a doublesmoked with some cheddar. I hope you enjoyed the sanny, tho it never really did happen. RAY
thanks Jim!! wow 4-6 hams going, must have a good sized smoker! and yep, definitely will have to do this ham in the future as everyone loved the flavor of it!

Saying this so you don't have to buy a spiral sliced ham, but they are on sale so you may want to get on anyhow and smoke it as well for a doublesmokedham. This way you have all bases covered and plenty of left over ham to vac seal :D

...were quite a few negative posts about the Meater + temperature probe. I just used it for the second time. First time was for a doublesmokedham and today is a pork butt. My short version review is: I like it!. I do like it better than most of my other probes...but I am sure I will continue...
Was at the grocery store the other day and saw a smokedham on sale and it got me thinking about a few posts I have read on here.
I was thinking about getting it and double smoking it.
Any trick to it?
Does smoking it again dry it out? I guess you would have a water pan in the cook chamber so...
This year as with a few in the past, we ended up with a lot of leftover ham so the first thing I did was make some deviled ham for the wife and kids. They love that stuff. The bone and beans are only for me so there isn't much left on it.
@rod doing stuffIn this video, I double-smoke a spiral-cut ham and use a honey glaze. It is really good; one of the best hams I've ever had! Give this recipe...
...of the deep freeze and whipped up some corn bread (5 hours later) and had a great bowl of double-smokedham and beans. Nothing too exciting, but doublesmokedham does make the ham and beans a little more interesting.

I would say "plated" but "bowled" seems more appropriate
...pea soup, and chunks for you'll see.
Chunks have been put thru the food processor for ham salad.
Later on, today I'll mix a little mayo, pepper, pickle juice, garlic and onion powder to the shredded ham. Doublesmokedham salad one of my favorite sammies.
Thanks for putting up with me...
Did a 9 pound flat in the Camp Chef XXL for Easter, along with a doublesmoked spiral ham in the other pellet smoker. Wet it down with Worcestershire as a binder then rub with Meat Church Holy Cow and let it dry brine overnight in the fridge. At 7:00 am I fired up the smoker for a hot and fast...
