Nh3b's you asked where bluegrass came from?
Here in the US that is always up for debate. Some say Kentucky, others Tennesse. I say it came from Virginia and West Virginia. Started in the Hills by the Irish and Scotts that were settling there.
So Ireland is where it really came from..Imho.

Now what I listen to is Ipod packed with a ton of music all mixed up. Or 93.1 the WOLF Country that rocks..Playing new and real old country along with alot of great Southern Rock mixed in.
 
Well regaurdless of the state, Its all the appilachan mtns and thats true fact about the Irish and Scots. Thats why you hear that Celtic sound. Its Good stuff!
