I too use the Pitmaster IQ - but I have the IQ-110. It was worked flawlessly for the past 3 years and is totally fit-and forget.

Doesn't sound good any more,Piece of S*** fan came on when I plugged it in.Lights were showing high temp,my dial thermo read 160* F

Well you shouldn't have tried adjusting it using that big hammer

I have an Auber and it works well but most of the time if I use a controller it will be a Party Q. I have 2 and both have been adapted to use 110v. I can still use them with batteries but a set only seems to last about 12 hours for some reason.
