Thanks everybody. I thought about getting a small smoker, but I haven't figured out where to put it. You would think that a motel in a town of 200 people in north central Alberta would just be basic, but the only access to the rooms is through the "lobby". Naturally my room is a long way from there. Afraid it will just be tooooo cold to sit outside and keep an eye on the cook. Gonna have to think about this.

Hahaha. And yes I'm over thirty--just turned 68.
