With A Heavy Heart And Sad Post!

We have very unfortunately lost Eric @SmokinEdge !

His wife this evening texted me that Eric had a heart attack and is no longer with us.

His wife Carma asked if it’d pass along the devastating news to the SMF family…

I respectfully told her I would.

I just text Eric this morning to say Hi and Happy Fathers day and his wife text me back the news. I hated to hear this. He was one of my favorite people to talk to. He was so helpful, knowledgeable, and a great friend
Im not sure what to say, I just found out about an hour ago from the text. I havent even found a way in my heart to respond yet.

Just got a text from “SMF Eric”
Though it’s Carma… not Eric!

I told her she would be getting offers for funds to help with his passing. I offered to have them mailed to me and I would of course mail a bundle package of unopened mailings to her.

However, thinking about it… should likely go thru some Admin for some documentation and they should send to Carma and the kids.

Wow! This sucks! Eric was such a knowledgeable and helpful person. I am stunned. I will always remember his unsolicited kindness that I can never repay. R.I.P. my friend!

What a truly sad day. Eric helped me so much and was such a kind person. There simply are no words to express the shock of finding out about this. He was such an important part of this forum always willing to help anyone in anyway he could. So knowledgeable and always willing to share that knowledge.

Eric, you will truly be missed. RIP my brother and prayers to your family in this difficult time...

NOOOOOO WAYYYY... I'm in shock and don't know what to say... WHOLLY SHIT...

And again it's proved (unfortunatly) that you just never know.. I can't imagine the devastation his family is going through... As others have said about his knowledge and more than willing to share... His family, SMF, and all of us just lost so much with his passing... I can just Imagine the Gathering that he and other lost members are having... What an unfortunate loss ...
