I am very jealous of the gazebo! WE have a plan to one day pour a cement slab with a shingles roof on wood columns for my smokin and grillin area.... Some day... its just a dream right now. But a covered cook area would make me VERY happy.

But.... it's so cozy!

That is a nice looking setup so I don't blame ya for wanting to let it go!

Question though, do u get to really use it more than your 1 summer month out of the year up there in the frozen tundra? hahahaha :emoji_laughing:

I'm jealous of the stone floor u got going, I want to do it to most of my back yard which is ridiculously small as well. I was traumatized as a child push mowing 1 acre of yard twice a week in the Texas summer for years so I pledged to buy a house that didnt have much of a yard if any or to turf it all hahaha. I made pretty good on the promise but still want to reduce the backyard grass growth and put down the stone like u have.

You'd be surprised at how long we use the gazebo! As soon as the snow has melted, we put it up and use it right away. We're a tough breed :)
If it's really cold, we close the curtains and bring out the blankets. We also use the little gas fireplace in the middle to keep warm too.

I hear ya on the grass cutting issue. Our last house had a large one acre lot that we had to cut every week, and it took pretty much all day to do it to my husbands perfection. I totally do not miss it!
