Wiring pid to original mes smoker wires

Can anyone explain how to wire up the pid to your existing element and wires? I know About wire nutting the 4 wires on the board but wondering how to actually wire up pid to use existing element

What brand/model PID are you referring to? I attached a power cord directly to my MES40's element, which plugs into my Auber PID. This bypasses all the of MES's original wiring.
