Got electric smoker for Christmas from Lowes.  Love it, but an really, really new and do not want to just give up!  Tried pistachio nuts...want to try pepperoni (the large sticks bought in stores)...cannot find any help on times....temps ..... or the types of chips to use for various foods being smoked.

Any help!!!

Thanks!

Are you asking for times on already manufactured pepperoni?

Types of wood is personal preference mainly - what smoke flavors you like - Sometimes I use pecan for brisket, sometimes mesquite.  I always use a combination of hickory and cherry for any type of pork because that is what I like.

Interestingly enough, Jeff provides a simple guide for types of wood with food.  Just follow the link below.
