This was dinner tonight:

Chicken wings seasoned with greek seasoning and then glazed with a Heinz 57/Honey mix.  These lasted about 4 minutes with my family:

Orange Pecan Sweet bread.  My wife looked at me funny the first time I made a cake in the grill, now she just looks forward to the next creation:

Since I love Heinz 57 and honey I am thinking this would be great. The only problem is that my daughter loves Heinz 57 as much as I do so I guess I'll have to make a whole bunch of them.

Great looking meal!

Both the wings & the cake look delicious!

Wow!  Thats some sweet looking grub you cooked up there!   How do you like the RecTec?
I'm loving it so far.  I was cooking steaks on it a couple nights ago as tornadoes were cruising through the area.  I was in the garage watching for them while reverse searing some steaks.  Today, I'm doing leg quarters with Alabama white sauce, tomorrow is a small butt and Sunday we are going to take it easy and just make green chili cheeseburgers.

It's so much easier than the old smoker.  I really like that I don't have to babysit it although that has taken some getting used to.  I'm so used to getting up and checking the temp every once in a while so it's odd just to sit back and relax in the house.

Man, sounds like you are giving that thing a workout!  i saw a couple reviews on YouTube and i really liked what i saw.  If i ever went the pellet route, i would definitely kick the tires on a Rec ec
