I had to buy a new laptop. And it qualifies for Windows 11. Has anyone used it yet? If so. What are your thoughts about it.
Same here...Not yet, but Microsoft is nagging me constantly to upgrade from 10.
Hell, I'm still running Win7.....![]()
I just asked our IT guys last week about Windows 11 as my home computer is nagging me about the free upgrade as well.
They said there are only minor differences - now - between 10 and 11.
When 11 first rolled out, there were "issues" that now seem to have been patched.
They also said Windows 10 will be supported for a LONG time.
Thanks. I was planning to stick with 10 anyway until they stop updates....I just asked our IT guys last week about Windows 11 as my home computer is nagging me about the free upgrade as well.

I had to completely update my computers (2 desktops and a laptop) and all came with W11. I like it less than W10. Sadly, many of the upgrades in programs I use (I'm an accountant) the upgrade turns into a downgrade with LESS functionaility. Obvious some code warriors are not getting good 'queI had to buy a new laptop. And it qualifies for Windows 11. Has anyone used it yet? If so. What are your thoughts about it.
I thought they learned their lesson in removing the start button and making the interface look like a tablet with Win8?! It was a complete disaster. Many people used 3rd party shells until they finally patched it to allow a more traditional Windows desktop interface.Using it on a new laptop. They have removing the Start button and starting apps is a bit annoying. On the positive, set up easy and easy to synch between computers Microsoft/Google so its same settings/favorites/password preservation between computers and phone.
