Going to move mine to the corner of the carport starting on the next cook, 40-60s starting this week,have a side and 1 end with walls so the south and west are stopped
pellet hopper end in the wind. it will also block some of the wind. i have the PitBoss 700 and on the back it has the "vent" holes so i also have to make sure it is slightly turned so the wind hits it at a angle and not on the back. I also boght a old wool blanket from a garage sale i put over it to help keep the heat. In the cold weather the pellet smoker will use a lot more pellets so make sure you don't run out of pellets.
