This is a very hearty Winter meal or any time for that matter. The recipe calls for a homemade pie crust so I let the Mrs do her thing.
It was a rainy night so it was baked in the oven instead of on the pellet grill.

What time is dinner...yum.
I usually make two or 3 extras and freeze for future eating...yep like them. I also cover mine with a lot of that black stuff.

Damn, that looks amazing.
We make Dove pot pie a mushroom gravy and Specklebelly goose pot pie with a brown gravy.
This year our Dove spot was a bust, I'll be really bummed out if our Speck hunting isn't good this season.
One more week and our waterfowl season is game on, I can't wait.
