I brined a yard bird in white wine, brown sugar and salt overnight. Smoked with apple wood at 225-250 for 2-2.5 hours. It had a very nice light sweet taste and peeled right from the bone!

I also made some stuffed jalepeno ABTs, wrapped in bacon, and the no boil mac n cheese that someone on here shared the recipe for:

It all turned out great! My wife even ate the ABTs and she normally wouldn't touch a jalepeno! I just stuffed them with cream cheese. The mac n cheese was good the first night but it was even better the next day!

That looks great, what a nice treat for her!

Wish your wife a blessed and happy birthday.

I just hope she doesn't catch on to the fact that my cooking her dinner just gives me another reason to use my smoker! lol! No, really, it's the least I can do for her. She's a wonderful wife and terrific mother to our two little girls!

Thank you for the compliments!

Bird looks delish!  Yummy!  Tell her we said Happy Birthday!
