The Bradely looks like a puck burner. I hear they can be expensive to operate. Get the Masterbuilt and read all the info here about mods and accessories that make it a good smoker.
 
Get the masterbuilt. It can use chips or pellets if you get a pellet burner smoke generator.

Bradleys use a propietary design that no one else is allowed to make. They also expose their feed and heating system to the elements. As in you'll just get snow and rain into it when in use <or not in use depending>

You can get pellets dirt cheap, you could hack up your own chips from wood if so inclined.
 
I'm a charcoal guy, just thought an electric would be good for jerky or in the winter. My WSM doesn't like the cold.
Yes, for jerky, sausage. sticks, fish and with a PID controller mod you can set it 10° above outside ambient temp to create a draft for cold smoking cheeses bacon etc.
