Which MES 30 is better?

Hello, Im new to the forum this place has ALOT of great information and I am glad to be a part of it now. So a little about myself,  I have been smoking for a few years now on my Masterbuilt gas smoker mostly ribs, pork butts, briskets, and various types of poultry. I recently just bought these two smokers and need to decide which one to keep. I bought both because they were both on sale and I wanted to make sure I was able to get the sale price while I did some research on the two. I can't seem to find any information on these specific model numbers. I know that certain models have problems and I was wondering which of these two is the best. The model number for the one on the left is 2007194 and the model number for the one on the right is 20071414.

Not going by the Number, but going by the pictures on the boxes:

Keep the one on the left with the control in the back of the top (small slanted box).

Get rid of the one on the right with the controls built into the top front edge.

The one is usually a POS (Gen #2), and the other one is Awesome (Gen #1).

I get tired of writing all the problems with the Gen #2.
