I am looking at a couple different meat grinders on e-bay and wanted to see if anyone has used either of these or has any input on what brand or type to buy?
I looked for a food processing area and did not see one so I posted here. Please feel free to move to the correct area if needed.
Here are the two I am looking at

and
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

please feel free to give any info to help me buy the right grinder the first time. I plan on using it for deer, elk, moose as well as beef and pork.
Thanks in advance for any info!!!!!!!

I have the 1 and 1/4 HP version of the 2nd choice. It's flat out been a great grinder. I would not use it as a stuffer.. Pain in the tail in my opinion. Once I got a verticle stuffer I never looked back. Gander Mountains 5 LB stuffer works great for 100 bucks. Even if your not making sausage , the stuffer makes it easier to load the plastic chub bags for storing your game meat grind. A pair of hog ring pliars and your set! It took me about an hour to grind 40 pounds of Elk, and stuff into 1 lb bags.

They all seem to be copies of the Tasin grinder http://www.tasin.com.tw/en/index2.htm. They vary in wattage but they are all pretty much the same. I have not seen the Force labeled grinders before.

These are very good grinders. I would say they are medium duty grinders. They are favored among pet owners who make their own pet food because they can grind bones very well. I have the Tasin TS 108 and it's a great grinder for the money. I don't know if these Force grinders vary much from the Tasin and the one at NT on the insides but they are carbon copies on the outside.

I was also going to say that I have seen the second one at Northern Tools but I didn't know it had all metal gears or I would have bought it. But I have seen it for 129.99 at northern tools TOO
