Make it at home. Chop sticks optional:
Crab Rangoons:
1 can lump crab meat.
1 pack cream cheese.
2 tbs finely sliced green onion.
Dash salt and pepper.
1 tsp soy sauce.
Wonton wrappers.
Mix all ingredients.
Place 1.5 tsp mixture on wrapper. And wet all sides slightly with water. And seal into triangles.
These get fried in 375 degree oil until golden brown.

Chinese bbq pork.
Sliced pork into strips and marinade with Chinese bbq sauce/marinade. I used Wegmans Brand. For 24 hours.
Cook until pork is done. And there is a slight char to them.

Pork fried rice.
6 cups day old rice. I used Jasmine rice.
2 smoked pork shops, I used some I smoked awhile ago. Cut into small cubes. And pan fried until browned.
1/4 cup frozen peas.
1/4 cup diced green onions.
2 fried rice spice packets.
3 tbs soy sauce to dissolve the spice packets.
Heat rice in pan with 2 tbs oil. With the peas and onions.
When hot. Add the dissolved spices and stir until blended.
Push rice to one side and add 2 beaten eggs to cleared side of pan. Stir until cooked. Then blend with rice.
Now plate up!

Pork is done. I had to try a few pieces. Nice char. But still tender and moist.

Getting the smoked pork browned up. Some folks use bacon. I prefer this.

Filling for the Rangoons. This would make a awesome dip. Don't ask how I know!

Money shot! This meal was incredible. I used La Choy brand sweet and sour sauce to dip the Rangoons. I've tried making my own. But, I haven't gotten that down yet.
Homemade Rangoons are a million times better then take out. These were creamy and delicious. And had a perfect crunch. Plus. You know you are getting real crab meat instead of imitation.

Wow Steve!! Amazing looking meal right there buddy. Extremely well done and a beautiful presentation. I'd tear up a plate of two of that.

Wow! That’s incredible! I’d take that over take out any day!!!! Great cook with beautiful results. Thank you for the recipes too, we’ll be doing this!!

Looks delicious Steve. Very easy recipe and steps. Excellent plated shots. Great work.

That looks amazing! We've done homemade takeout a few times. It's really labor intensive.

Makes you wonder how those guys can get a bag full of food done in 15 minutes.

Thanks! The prep work takes time. But the cooking portion is pretty fast and easy. A lot can be done the day before. The rice needs to be cooked the day before. The pork needs to marinate for 24 hours. You could do the rangoon filling the day before as well. The rangoons need to be stuffed and cooked right away unless you make them and freeze them ahead of time.

Looks delicious Steve, we love Chinese food, only thing I know how to cook is stirfry. I have chop sticks and actually use them, this is bookmarked and will be done, thanx! RAY

Man, do you deliver? 😂

In all seriousness, that looks phenomenal and appreciate the recipes! Gonna give this a try!

Looks fabulous Steve! We were just thinking about Chinese food yesterday. And no chopsticks here...that would be a diet for me or make me fast! Guess I could use as a spear and stab it lol.

Nice! I was just thinking yesterday that soon I would be able to do a wok cook on the KUDU Grill.
Not crazy about crab here, but the pork strips and the pork fried rice looks really fine!
I usually just use cream cheese for won tons, but I think I'll try your other ingredients as well but without the crab.
Thank you for the recipes!
(I use chopsticks. The Mrs won't even think about it.)
