New to here and kinda new to smoking. Well i've smoked on my Char Griller before but never really put the time in to research how to do things right! I'm here now and thanks to the great information i did some mod's and had a successful smoke today. I had a few minor bumps but i've got the solutions figured all out now once Dave confirmed what my issue was.

I'm the kinda guy that get's a bug up his you know what and dives WAY into a hobby so i have a feeling this Char Griller will get gifted and i'll be leaning on a few buddies who do fab to make me something killer and way more then i need. Looking for that perfect brine and rub for chicken if ya care to share?!?! Gonna give shooters Snake Bitten Chicken rub a run this week but i think i'll brine instead of inject like i believe he does. I'm one of those guys who cant taste things unless their potent so the stronger the flavor and the hotter the better. With that said any age old secret recipes you're willing to share that would fit the bill i'll never complain!

Here is a pic of one of todays birds. i know i need new cast iron this grill is at least 6 years old and i didn't take the best care of her but she's still kicking and structurally sound. i may grab some sand paper and see how they turn out there kinda beat up lol.
