Cherry Coke ribs for me. Plus I found a 4-rib piece, saved from a beef rib roast in the freezer, all by its lonesome. So I invited it to the party.

Pulled from the cherry coke brine after 36 hours.

SIL made burgers for the fam. It was a lovely afternoon with minimal effort from me. Nice change.

Played with grandbabies, slayed everyone at baggo, red white and blue cocktails. good times.
 
We went to a baseball game yesterday, then watched fireworks until midnight. Today I'm smoking some steelhead trout and making injections for an annual BBQ on Tuesday.
 
Hamburgers on the BGE with grilled red bell peppers and sauteed Chanterelle mushrooms. I brought a charcuterie board to munch on while we visited and prepped the meal.
