Yesterday made some hot sticks. 2 batches, 2# venison + 1# ground chuck. One with hickory & pepperjack cheese, other was cajun & cheddar. These may not make till Sunday.

Super Bowl and birthdays are the only times of the year we treat ourselves to Kettle BBQ potato chips and Crispy Cheetos, so those and Blue Moon beer will be there.
Our SB meal tradition is chili so I'll smoke the chuckies, flank steak, or tri tip on Saturday and make the chili Sunday morning. The meat will be determined by what's on sale this weekend.
I also bought all the stuff to make stone baked pepperoni and sausage pizzas. Thanks to Roller's Amish bread he's turned me into a bread baker. Roller got me started and now I use my family's Italian bread recipe, which still needs some tweaking the way it has been handed down (no oven temp and wrong amount of water). I have to bake bread on Saturday with what hopefully will be the final fixes to the recipe so I'll make enough dough to make a couple pizzas too.

Getting ready. Have the wings in the rub, in the fridge and the ABT's (half with shredded cheese & half with pepperoni) wrapped and waiting to go. Weather is nasty out so time to relax until my Spartans whip the Wolverines in basketball at 1 and then head to my buddies with the smoker! Good smoking !

Well I decided to go with the old standby. 12 Jasper Mountain star thistle honey and chipotle. 12 Homemade strawberry sriracha preserves. Of course all cheesed up with Philly cream cheese. Homemade BBB. Apple wood of course. A couple of Chicken courdon bleu fatties too. Go Hawks! I think this is very slippery sea hawks weather here. Full on Ice storm.

I know it's not smoked but I made papaya chicken with kalamungay and Filipino squash.
