What to look for in a used pellet smoker?

I am new to smoking and wanted to start out with minimal investment. I can buy a used Camp Chef SmokPro SE or a used Camp Chef SmokePro DLX for about the same amount of money. The SE never used and the DLX has moderate use, looks like it's been stored outside without a cover. What should I watch out for when buying a used smoker?

My guess would be to check the hopper/auger/controller part to see if it all works as it should. If that all checks out, you should be good to go.
