What kind of Flower is this?

It's been growing in my yard every year for at least 18 years and it smells really good. We have never known exactly what it is.

Well then that is a heck of a nice "weed" to be growing on it's own so well for so long.

Actually it is hardly a weed..  It's a self propogating bulb.

Oh I know that. I'm a gardener. I say about anything that grows so well on it's own, that it grows like a weed.

Our crinums aren't real happy in this heat...

My fiance is a horticulturist and grows lots of stuff here.

Some of her recently planted stuff.

 I call this thing "Fernzilla" It doesn't leave much room on the back deck... Its about 5 feet across.

That fern is impressive. I have a few of them growing like weeds (in that I never planted them) around the drip edge of the house. I have a fiveV crimp metal roof so the dew drips off pretty heavy in certain areas making tropical micro zones in my otherwise desert conditions around here. The summer rains are late this year.

Nice fern. Ya know if you pull of a little branch of that and rub it on ya it repels mosquitoes.

It is a  pretty flower whatever kind it is...

This is a flower I term "the new beginning" flower as it signifies new beginnings for it's hardiness representing renewal.

If I had some of those I would be dividing the bulbs and spreading it around. Very pretty plants.
