What door should I cut on my new build

I'm tired of having to put lips on the doors so im cutting the side all the way across but which is more desirable? 1 2 or 3

Thinking the traditional door would turn out better. Built one with a lid like that once and was never happy with it.

I kinda like the idea, but all that extra metal would make for a heavy door wouldnt it?

I kinda 3rd these 2 gents opinion. With a longer total cut, you stand a greater chance for leakage an heat loss. BUT I like #2.

Yeah I concur  I don't like the looks of a grill  or smoker cut this way, Plus the weight is a real issue. But definitely Not #3
