I watched Goodfellas yesterday. That thing gets ya at the start and doesn't turn loose. I saw that it leaves Netflix on June 1 and I wanted to see it one more time.

Our kids turned us onto Napoleon Dynamite, stupid hilarious go to movie for a no brainer. Big You Tube watcher, get my local and national news, Australian Sky news is not fake news.
My son got us watching "Severance" on Apple TV, not too sure but its one of those that has its own path. Strange, sci-fi futuristic. Land Man Billy Bob Thornton.

I got hooked on a Youtube channel, The Spear It Animal .

I'll post a link to the point I joined it, somehow , this got into my YT feed. I watched this young couple working to flip this hurricane damaged catamaran over and it became intriguing.

So I caught up with the catamaran and went back to Episode 1, and Mrs Okie and I have binged on the rest of their videos.

He has skills. He was a QB for UCF. Rennovated kitchens for 8 years. Has carpentry and mechanic skills.

She is a great compliment to him. She does a lot of things that are not feminine, but yet, she's very feminine. Not afraid of hard work nor getting her hands greasy.

So they rebuilt this boat, that they paid too much for. Complete rennovation. And now they're taking on a catamaran. I can't wait for next video

Here is where I came in ...........

Saw the new Mission Impossible movie yesterday. Good flick, but almost 3 hours long. My rear was sore by the end of it.
I have a movie theater right across the street from me and never been in it. The thought of sitting there for that long does not appeal to me. I guess they will bring food and drink to you but what about bathroom breaks? To bad they dont do intermissions anymore.

Plus I'm not going to spend that kinda money just to fall asleep...

Just watched a documentary called For The Love Of Spock. Great insight into the life of Leonard Nimoy and his family. You don't have to be into Star Trek to enjoy this even though it was a very big part of his life and this documentary.

Wife’s son from a previous marriage looks and acts like Napoleon Dynamite. He goes to a predominantly Latino school and is well liked on the strength of that.
Vote for Pedro.

Both softball and baseball CWS's. Texas women won the softball, baseball start with regional, then super regionals, and now the final eight teams in Omaha started yesterday. I would love to be able to watch them all, but I've got some fishing to do in the mornings. Pulling for LSU to win it all but there are some very good teams in the group. First two games were great.

Just started watching the show Goliath with Billy Bob Thorton... on Prime... Has 3 seasons... I'm on S1 E5
Just added this to my list. I just started ad free and shifted to Prime because everything else is dead to us right now and we're not into watching much older stuff...once in a while maybe. I'm not big in to major crime dramas but this one is getting 8.1 on IMDB so it must have something going for it. Almost none one is making "Funny and adventure" anymore it seems, so I might as well get used to the dark side.

Last movie I saw in the theater was Titanic, years ago. It's the last for exactly that reason. A miserably long movie and I completely missed a chunk of it as I had bubbling guts in the bathroom from dinner before the movie!

That's my wife usually. When we watch a really long movie, we break it up in to two halves watching it on two separate nights. When I see her nodding off, I stop it and start watching something else for the rest of the evening till I fade out.

Yeah, cannot recall last time in a theater. One of the last ones had people kicking seat, yakking or on phones, big heads in front, sticky floors from overpriced concessions … no thanks.
Don’t have it now, but built a real 900 sf home theater that looked and sounded better … plus a bathroom and a bar and a pause button.

Not the same now with my living room TV and LCR speakers, so don’t watch many movies.

This was the most expensive of the TV shows I have ordered but it is not made any more and I wanted an unopened DVD set in my region. It was 14 seasons 121 DVDs. I used to love watching it in my teens on repeats. I can guarantee I never watched all of them.

Bonanza 14 seasons.

Last time I was in a theater was about 15 years ago. It was way too loud the last few shows I went to. About that time I setup my home theater and never had a reason to return.
