I saw Radiohead open for REM back in the day when they put out The Bends. REM had Monster out. Unbelievable show.
Wow that's two huge albums right there. Would have been one hell of a show

Just reminded me when I saw Live who had Muse as the openers. That was pretty darn good

It is a great song.

It was a favorite song of my cousin, who coincidentally was named Dwayne. He wanted it played at his funeral service. Every time I hear the song, I think of Dwayne.
Yes it was quite the surprise... my wife just sent me the news last night from work. We hadn't stayed in touch much after he moved to Florida but once a good friend... always a good friend !
I cranked that song on the stereo and lifted a glass in his memory!

OK Dan I think I'm hooked. Just watched Frank Marino - Live at the Agora Theatre - It's Begun to Rain. Wow can he play. Kind of got a Robin Trower vibe from it.
I used to go see this dude, at The Keystone in Berkeley, CA in the 70s & 80s for $5 to $15. The keystone was awesome, it was a super small venue, but big name bands like the Grateful Dead would just drop in and play.
I remember seeing this dude, Randy Hansen, there many times. If you like Jimi Hendrix, you'll love Randy Hansen, he's by far the best cover of Hendrix, ever.

I'm not a huge John Mayer fan, but BB was the MAN!!!

It's funny, as I find myself listening to more talk radio while driving or Q'ing . I'm also noticing that my musical tastes have mellowed.

David, Nope happily married since 1985. I think it's just the time-frame. It seems all music from the early 70s had that tone.

Ha ha Chris, just poking you with a stick.
same here we just had our 40th Christmas together barely feels like 70 years or so.

I get it about the music, playing cards last night with the ladies of the house we always have the music streaming on in the background and it is almost always the 70's station, ( or country oldies if I win ) and last night was a lot of mellow songs.

Billy Gibbons, is gonna be in Napa CA next month, with special guests. Seeing that it's only 25-30 minutes from my house, I will prob go, just to see who shows up with him. I've seen him with ZZ a couple of times, the dud can play.
