Now that that hot summer over started back grilling on the river again. I order that Warming Rack for Kettle to get some more room. Do you think this will work out? Was wondering about heat temp from top to bottom? I did these ABT's last week and doing my cured chicken legs next that always popular.

How you going to set your fire up? (Charcoal briquettes) All on side? In the middle? Scattered throughout? I think it would work good if the fire was indirect, away from the rack. Like you, curious what the temperature differences would be.

Brian I have one I kind of found it to be more of a pain mainly because closing the lid was tough and it almost makes it harder to use the space underneath it. Unless you put something under that you don’t have to flip or touch during a cook it was a pain. Let me know if you find any tricks with it

I wish I would of asked before I ordered. Amazon ships to fast. I can see what you talking about. I may just send it back.

I mainly use the vortex. I mostly do ABT's and Chicken legs. Our group at the river seems to keep growing lately.
