Greetings - How are Ya Doin' ? - from Wellington, New Zealand.

I have enjoyed eating smoked food for many years, but never thought I would bother doing my own ... until today. Lunch at a great little place in Silverstream included a home-smoked salmon, which was wonderful but not unusual, and a smoked rib-eye steak, which was sensational.

My significant other spent ten years in NZ on both islands in the medical profession. Most recently last year in Auckland. We are now building a farm for our "retirement".
