Those CSRs look awesome John! We never see them cut like that here. They look pretty appetizing.

Well nothing is stopping me from cutting my own, how long did they take ?

Thanks Joe! I would say roughly 3-4 hours. Smaller ones a little less time. I panned for about an hour then added some more sauce and back into the smoker for a few to firm back up.

John that all looks great!! You got a heck of a smoke ring on them too. I will have to look for that Tony’s. Like many commercial spice blends I feel like the regular has far to much salt.

Thanks Jeff. You are exactly right most of them are too salty for my liking. If you cant find the Tony's in the store I know you can get it off amazon just not sure price wise what it will set you back.

Very nice work and a great price. I got a Sample Packed of Tony's in the mail with a pamphlet of BBQ recipes. I gave it a taste and Spit it out! I like Salt but Tony's Original was just Stupid Salty! If I didn't develope my own Cajun Seasoning, I would try finding the Salt Free...JJ

Damn fine looking ribs right there buddy!! Excellent job. i know I'd be all over a platter full of those...along with some beans and pasta salad of course. Great job my friend. Hopefully this weekend will bring nice weather and you can continue the course.

Robert

Thanks Robert appreciate it man! Don't cook CSR's much but they hit the spot for sure and go great with the beans and cool pasta salad.

Those ribs look beautiful! Whole cook looks good! I can see why you had a time finishing that plate...anymore and you'd need siderails.

Nice job
Ryan

Thanks Ryan! No kidding that plate was packed full and stuffed to the gills and that was one rib! Normally I don't see them quite that big around here but hey I'm not complaining!

Thanks Jimmy. Yeah I agree on the regular Tony's. Just too much. Love Cajun flavors without feeling like I am sucking on a salt lick. Care to share your Cajun seasoning recipe?

Damn John,
those Cases look freaking outstanding!
And you scored a smoking deal on the price.

Thanks John! Yeah man couldn't turn down at that price. I think I had $20 in that entire meal including all the ribs, beans, and pasta salad. Got any big cook plans this weekend?
