website question about private messages...

Question about this site....do private messages get purged after so long? I wanted to go back and look at private messages I've had with various members over the years and it looks like a lot of them are gone! That would be a real shame if they are gone forever. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but I was looking in the "conversations" link. I know I've had way more private chats than what is showing.

Go to your in box , and click show all in the bottom left .

Maybe they were lost when the site transferred.
