Weber grill pan doesn't fir in the WSM 18"

I have one of these () and it doesn't fit on the grill due to the sides. I'm thinking I could bend the sides so they're 90 degrees from the base. Is this possible without wrecking it?

What you going to use that pan for?
It is 17.52 inches long. you should be able to bend up a quarter inch. Looks like the angle of the ends will allow for more of an upright position and nobody will know.

On my gas grill I do a meat loaf on a cedar plank, so that's for this, and fish.

I need to bend the sides and arms.

If it were mine I would bend the snot out of it!
