I didn't have the time to smoke so I resorted to a little indirect heat on the old Webber Kettle. Took some country ribs and marinaded them in orange and soy for a bit.

Boy it sure was good!

Any good marinades out there?

Looks good, check out the sauce and rub forums, lots of good marinades to be found.

I've had my Weber for over 15 years now and with a grill change it looks like new, except wood handles which are a little worn now. I love it though! I am learning more about indeirect cooking and the likes.

I've heard the term "Smokenator" a couple of times now and thought, what the heck is that. I briefly looked once and didn't really find anything, but I am going to go hunting for it now.

I use a 20 year old Weber. Still the original racks but I've had to make new handles.

I've had my Smokenator for some time now and it works great!! As far as innovative ideas in the world of bbq, that has to be in the top 5!!

Char thanks for the link, saved me some time. I've never seen one but it looks like a sond idea as you stated. I'm definitately going to think about that.
