I found Wagyu brisket in Orlando, price tag was $12.69/lb, got it for $10.49/lb, so I just bought 4lbs, they let me get the point though so I could not resist.

Sorry, I have no pictures, but it was a beautiful thing.

It was so damn tender w/o marinating or injecting...no wonder it's used in competition.

So I will be getting more in a few weeks I guess.

I never marinade or inject my briskets

wagyu is expensive but good thats for sure, nice job, whats up in the last pic?
From what I've read there's 2 ways of doing this: one is to cut into blocks, add some BBQ sauce and put back in smoker. Second was to put them in a low heat cast iron pan with some BBQ sauce, that's what I did. It's just that it released a TON of fat and it looks like I'm frying it.

Looks mighty tasty   good job

Great looking brisket Graco.  I am sure enough jealous.  The only place that I can find packers around here carry only select and choice and they seem to be on the minus side of both of those grades.

I just wish I had the option to pay the prices for higher grades, let alone Wagyu beef.

Good point.  Got to confess that I haven't shopped for Wagyu online but I have looked into a lot of pork and special fowl.  Shipping is usually high enough to scare me off.
