I had a wagyu steak, once, many years ago in Scottsdale I was impressed. It was a huge steak served tomahawk style. I cried when I got the bill. I stumbled across this company today and though some other folks might want to clean out their tear ducts. According to some of the info, this beef is pretty much pasture raised and without hormones and antibiotics. Enjoy!

Sorry Sarge, not interested in wag at U meat.
Way too much fat for my tastes.
I'm a simple man with simple ways.
Probably only one step above a Wal-martian. (I like the Pay-to-Play Walmart called Sam's Club. LOL!)

Warren - You need to get to know your neighbor's friend. One can never have too many friends.

SonnyE - Yes, sort of fatty but it seems to melt into the meat Sure is juicy! And this tidbit of info I found interesting:

Wagyu 101: Fullblood Wagyu beef contains more Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids than other beef. These are known to protect against heart disease and high blood pressure. Wagyu beef also contains a higher proportion of monounsaturated fats than other beef. Replacing saturated fat in your diet with monounsaturated fats is known to lower your blood cholesterol level and risk of developing cardio vascular disease. In addition, Wagyu beef has more protein than most fish. The protein in fullblood Wagyu beef helps to maintain muscle while burning fat as it increases oxygen intake, energy production, and metabolic rate. When it comes to premium beef, fullblood Wagyu beef is the healthier choice!

By the way I ordered my Chef's Choice slicer last night.

Slipped that in like a surgeons scalpel there, Sarge.
Good onya! I hope you are as happy with yours as I am with mine.
What size (model) did you decide on?

I'll email my Doctor about the healthy factors of Wagyu Beef. I can tell you right now though the answer is going to be NO!

I simply can not see it being as healthy as say Salmon. Better than other beef, maybe.
But the prices are ludicrous.

The slicer is the 665

Regarding beef: doesn't giving thanks and having a cold beer with a steak cancel out all the bad stuff?

I do know him working on the friendship.

That is a pretty impressive company.
I know that Snake River Farms wagyu is cross bred with Angus.
So this place would be the place to go to get the real deal!
Maybe someday!!

My neighbors friend does not have cross bred wagyu. Just getting into raising them very small herd at this time.
