Taking my gaming up a notch
Man this Quest is crazy! Unbelievable how real it is. Trying to ride the rollercoasters but man I get dizzy. It just like you are there. Graphics are crazy good. Ordered anther headset as the one that comes with it uncomfortable. Got the one my friend has and was a lot better plus has extra battery in it.

Considering first person perspective games make me sick I'll likely never do the VR. Im sure it's cool though.

That is great Brian

Taking my gaming up a notch. Amazon has a limited time deal on the Quest 3 for $407 plus a $100 digital credit.

I bought Mona one 2 years ago, not knowing if she would like it or not. But took a chance.
She loves it .

I had to set it up and try to learn it before I gave it to her , as I knew she would be asking me questions .
After the training games ( they are a must ) I tried the big roller coaster one , after 15 seconds or so had to shut it down, lost my balance and almost got sick, LOL

But she love it and has many games that are very cheap and can buy them right through the head set once youy set it up.

We liked it so much that I picked up 1 for me also. We play games together sometimes ( from different rooms as the double sounds throws you off).

You are going to really love this Brian

some games can give you a good work out also , if you want it to. Sword fight games etc.

Also , yes I added a lot of things to ours also, better headstraps, and eye pads sort of , as I need my glasses most times. Extra battery pack and chargers that just click on the back of the new head strap, so we can play for hours with out stopping, because the time goes fast.

I have not been on mine for about 6 months as I have been very busy. But Mona uses hers every other day.

There are lost of interesting game/programs.
I also like the one where you can put in the name of a place and actually seem like you are walking down the street of said place, I have been to the beaches of Rio, Dublin Ireland and Batton Rouge, to name a few.

I got the BOBOVR S3 Pro Battery Strap yesterday. Could tell that one that comes with it crap. Also has a fan to keep the glass from getting fogged over. I played golf this morning. Blew me away. I will check out those places. that sounds so cool!

Very good Brian.

I did the same , bought the BOBOVR head strap for both with the duel extra battery and chargers. I bought the fan for her , she did not like the fan so I put it on mine.

She has many games . But loves the Miniwalkabout Gulf games, she has everyone so far ( around 20 ) loves them all. The effects are very good, and the geometery is right on also. I like alot of them also, and like the fishing games.

And like I said walking around anywhere in the world that google maps has been to . go right up to any address you might have just to see what people are talking about . Or an old address that you lived at to see if it has changed etc. Or to some place you have always wanted to go to, just to see what it really looks like, Like say Key West or Sydney Australia .

I really starting to have a problem with that. Hoping it will get better with use. Just doing short session but that motion sticks with me for a while after using.

I find that also if I am in a game with cliffs or in space, it gets a little wonky. So then I just do a different game for a bit, and ease back into the other ones

I also like the free game , I think it is called INSS, you are in the space station and like you are interacting with them in a no gravity and you can travel float through the whole place while looking out the windows at earth etc, kind of cool once you figure out how to move around.
That is why the free instruction games that come with your set are very helpful and fun.

I really wanted to love The Last of Us but just didn't like the mechanics. I've heard they ported part 2 and it's better

I didn't like The Last of Us my first time playing it. Put it away and went a few months then decided to give it another try and it all clicked. Couldn't hardly put it down until I completed it. It's a great game.

I've tried twice but I'll likely try it again at some point.

If you liked Wolfenstein you would probably like the Metro series too if you havent played them yet.
Honestly, I’ve been playing a mix of games lately, but I also like following sports betting just for fun—it adds a little thrill. I stumbled across this article on pulse.com and it actually gave me some fresh ideas on strategy, especially when combined with a 1xbet bonus that I occasionally use. It’s not about big wins, just experimenting and seeing what works. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy mixing gaming with a bit of casual sports insight.

The graphics on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Aviator's Edition are absolutely absurd. This is with the Heatblur F-14 add-on ($35).

My video card is the AMD RTX7900 24 GB.

I can hardly tell if this is a game or a photograph. 🤯

Got the little man a PS5 for Christmas. The console came with Black Ops 7, haven't played it much with the little man around, but he's loving Farming Simulator 2025. No not to do farming, but to build trucks and semis and drive them around.
I got the kids Farming Simulator 2025 also and the Farmstick controller to use with their steering wheel and pedals that we already had.

However, the game that they have been playing more is

He had something similar on the PS4, wasnt too crazy about it. He likes farming sim mainly to build trucks in the shop. He's also 6 years old so might change into different games soon.

Finally decided to buy Baldurs Gate 3. Hesitated for a long time due to its top down perspective and point and click movement. They now have a mod to remap it to a free camera and WSAD movement. Got it up and running that way. Man it's beautiful but the learning curve is steep. I think I'll love it once I've figured it all out. It's a very deliberate more slow paced RPG so takes some adjustment there too. It's one of the most awarded games of all time.

I bought Red Dead Redemption I & II with Christmas money. I paid $45 for both.

They're on sale until tomorrow night through Epic Games. $24.99 for RDR1 and $19.99 for RDR2 Ultimate Edition.
