I been playing Black Mesa. Pretty good for a cheap game. I kind of running out of games again. Been playing some of my old PS2 games. Was hoping for some father day sales but not really seeing much.
I swear I dont think this game is ever going to get over! I just looked and still 4 chapters to go. time to take a break from this game!

I was at a friends yesterday and he has one of those Meta Quest Virtual Reality Headset. Man is that thing cool! I watched a roller coaster video. Man is that thing real. I had to close my eyes a couple time. It was just like you where on that thing. You can look around and everything. I will be getting one of those.

My 3 best games that I enjoyed were DOOM 3, Half-Life and Fallout 3 (can't play with current Windows), but Fallout 4 just as good. With Fallout 4. Can also download mods through the game to add extra play time. Added was Black Mesa (pre-half life - play as Gordon or Barney)

For those with Ipad

Stupid Zombies 1, 2 and 3, The Room (if you like mystery puzzles) - first is free by Fireproof Games, Monument Valley (first free) and Machinarium

DON

I finally finished Black Mesa. Man that was a long game and those last few chapters where tough to get through. I ready for something a bit slower right now! I think give Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy a shot. Also been playing SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs PS2 game as well as about 120 hours into assassin's creed odyssey. Life is rough.

I played GoG for awhile, didn't hook me but it wasn't awful. Did you try the free prologue of ifSunsets?

I tried to play a couple times. Just cant seem to get into it. I bought ARMA 3 this morning.

Edit. I requested a refund. To hard to use with controller. At least they make it easy.

Still playing COD @ my age much to my wife's chagrin. Everyone kicks my butt but it's only a game and it's good for hand/eye coordination and I get some good laughs.

I really like the Deus Ex games. I recently finished Deus Ex Human Revolution Director's Cut. Now that I figured out how to get my controller working for Deus Ex The Fall on steam I am playing it now.

Video when out on my Gaming PC yesterday while gaming. Had a heck of a time but finally got it back up. Will see if still works after the next reboot? I finished Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. I love all the Deus Ex games. Also been playing Batman: Arkham Knight. Got to a boss fight that I just cant beat. Time to take a break from it. Still playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey some. That game never ends. Thinking maybe time to start Half Life 2. Hoping for an AVR sale next week to replace the one lighting got. Man that screwed up a bunch of stuff!

Just started Dragons Dogma 2 last week. It's a tough slow start game but I think I'll like it. I'm installing a few mods that make it a bit more fun.

I got tired of re-playing games. Assassins Creed Shadows became available for $52 after a week so I downloaded it. I thought Odyssey was big but this game is huge. Set in 1549 Japan. You play 2 different people. One is a girl in her 20's who is the normal A.C. type and a black guy who is a Samurai (PC I guess). Lots of side quests and the graphics are incredible. I've been playing it for about 3 weeks now and it will probably last me another month easily.
I've been trying to beat a boss for an hour now and am playing on the next from the lowest difficulty......

I'm playing through the Warhammer 40k Dawn of War franchise right now along with Assassins Creed Valhalla. It's been pretty good stuff if you're into RTS/RPG style games

I played Odyssey for what seemed like forever and still didn't finish it all. Loved it and will probably play it some more this winter. Do you like Shadows as much? I read it's less RPG and more action which I'd not like. True?

It is pretty action/combat heavy (like Valhalla). Like most of the newer games there's a lot of focus on "abilities" where you "hold this button and hit that button after performing an action to do whatever" which i can never remember in the heat of battle so I don't worry about it and just whack away. I don't care for it but you might. The girl can sneak, climb, grapple, swing etc. like classic AC characters but is easily overwhelmed by two or more enemies while the dude is basically a tank and can't do a lot of that (If he tries to walk across a rope it breaks, but he can charge through a door and destroy it. He's a real badass in combat, though. Some of the quests require you to play one or the other, but most of the time you can switch to whichever one you want. I haven't run across any "bugs" yet. Not a lot of dialog choices that seem to make a difference (yet).

I could not get into Valhalla. I found it to be clunky and overall just not fun. I'll probably avoid Shadows. Started Dragons Dogma 2 last week. The first was one of my all time favs. Bit of a learning curve but really liking it now. It's a slow pace and each quest really feels like you achieved something.
